TR-196 with Marine Master 2004 Trailer and Trailer Buddy Axles by UFP

    Hello everyone,

I have noticed some grease / black, "sweating" on one of my Buddy Oil Lubricated Bearing systems. Is this a sign of a problem to come?

I topped them all of last year and they were all full...didn't add much if any.

Related, I would like to prepare for the worst--whether it to replace the above....or to be ready for a road issue. A previous post suggested that I carry a "spare hub with bearings and new seal already installed".

Will Waymires have a "spare hub" for my trailer and is this something that I can install with relative ease. Not much of a mechanic, but I love to bass fish :)

I also heard that your basically out of luck if you hub goes on the brake axle.. Not sure about this either but I would really like to get a handle on things so I minimize my down time.

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate you guidance on this.

    Frank.
