    Proper Tongue Jack Capacity??

I have a 2003 Triton TR186 with a 175 Opti sitting on a Marine Master trailer. It appears that I will need a new tongue jack. I presently have a Shelby Industries swivel bolt on jack but there's no model number to be found on it, I'm assuming that a new Shelby with a 1000lb capacity is more than sufficient for this setup?

I'm not sure of the exact tongue wieght but I am able to pick up the tongue, with some difficulty, just ahead of the winch stand, maybe a couple of feet max in front of where the jack is located.

    Thanks.

1000 lb capacity will be more than enough. You should on have about 200 to 300 hundred pound tongue weight. 10% of the total weight of you whole rig.
