    New bunk boards ? 2x4 or 2x6?

Has 2x4 on it now. Would you go to 2x6?

yes I would and I would look in to replacing them with other than wood bunkers- it's more expensive generally at the time but they will last longer - several of the boys here are getting a substitue for wood at Lowes

you may want to check with Engineered Plastic Systems 847-289-8383. Mark, their plant engineer, was very helpful and had me give him the distances between the mounts to make sure 2x4's would handle the load without sagging, etc. I've got a 1997 191 DCX and the longer bunks are almost 12' long. Just got them delivered yesterday and putting them on this weekend so we'll see. if you decide to go this route be prepared for some serious freight charges (almost as much as the material) because the longer pieces can't go UPS. hope this helps.
