Does anyone know where I can get the spare tire mount for a Javelin dual axle trailer? The boat is a Renegade 20. The tire hanger is built on the trailer with the hole drilled for the bolt and I have a spare tire and rim but I need the mounting bolt or whatever to secure the tire and rim. A picture would be helpful if anyone has some. Thanks.
Get a piece of stainless all-thread long enough to pass thru both lug hole and thru mounting bracket. Then either bend one end and pass thru mounting bracket and put a lug nut on other end or get two lug nuts with a washer and simply put one one each side of a straight piece of all-thread.
I actually welded a hook on the end of the all thread and hooked it thru the bracket and then simply used a lug nut to secure the rim and tire. For added security at the ramp, I purchsed a cable lock and wove it thru rim and trailer frame. I can upload pics later if you need clarification.
Just an added note, take a lug off your boat when shopping for all-thread and get the same size nut to secure your spare. That way, when and if you need it, the same wrench will remove the rim with the flat and the spare from the mount. I even keep a power handle and socket to fit the lugs in the bottom of the rod locker so It will be there if I need it.

I picked up the bolt from my Stratos dealer in Norwich, CT. He had exactly what I needed.
When I bought my Javelin it did not have a spare. I bought a rim and tire at my local tire shop. I bought the hanger that attaches to the basket at Wal Mart
