    Trailer breaking problems

My trailer breaks either don't work or work very little. Whenever i stop my truck the break piston totally compresses. When i start moving i get a banging noise. I tried bleeding the breaks with ni improvement. My trailer has disc brakes on both axles. Could it be a bad piston? Master cylinder? Solenoid?

A bang on stop and take off is usually either air in the lines or a bad shock..check fluid level and look for leaks. If you can compress the actutor by hand easily, it's the shock.
