    Bearings

We're getting ready to leave soon for our fishing vacation and I want to buy a bearing set for a backup....just in case. Only problem is that I don't know which size to buy my trailer is a '93 ProCraft single axle and the boat is a '93 ProCraft 180 Pro. Can anyone help me?

Contact Dennis at UFP (BBS username DABS), 800-835-9211 ext.16.

One thought is to carry a hub with bearings and seal installed and greased along with spare locking nut, cotter pin, and grease cap. Simplifies roadside replacement.

    Re: Bearings (taeheel2az)

Look on the back of the hub and see who the manufacturer is. Measure the diameter of your protector. If it is just under 2" it generally indicates a tapered spindle and will have 2 different size bearings on the 2900 lb to 3700 lb axles. If it is a UFP hub the bearings will be L68149 inner with L68110 race, and L44649 outer with L44610 race. The seal will be NOK # AD2527E.
