    Need Help

    Just put pads on my Ranger Trail trailer and the calipers will not push back out.Tried moving back and forth to pump the pressure up nothing.Anybody got any tricks or soloutions?

    C-clamp and a block of wood, make sure your reservoir is not full of fluid before you compress the plunger. The fluid pushed back in there will overflow. Cap should be off and about half full.

    You said you replaced the pads... Did you mean you're going to replace them? I'm not sure if you can't get the piston to retract into the caliper or extend. You may try to shoot some pb blast or something in there to loosen it up. I had that same issue with my brakes, ended up replacing the whole system due to rust, broken bleeder valves, etc.

    Did you check the fluid in your master cylinder???? You can use a screw driver to pump the master cylinder and the calipers puck should move back out to the rotor and take hold, if not you have air in the lines and you will need to bleed the system.
