One Light is dim (the new one)

I recently had to replace a trailer light ( Left side due to my bow rope getting caught on the trailer when I drove up the ramp - pulled the boat into the trailer and broke off the light) I replaced it with exactly what was there - Wesbar rectangle. Well after replacing it I now notice that the new one is considerably less bright then the old one. I can just barly tell that it blinking when it is on, the running light seems a little bit better but not as bright as the old one ????

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

    Thanks

    Tom

Make sure it has a good clean ground to the trailer.

Ground wire at the light itself for sure.
