    Question for you brake specialists

Took the actuator off my trailer, it is an UFP A60 and the master cylinder body is all coroded
with rust. Been having problems with it so I think I will buy a new one. The question is should
I go ahead and get new calipers also just to be on the safe side.

You don't necessarily need new calipers. Most auto parts stores have a flush kit that will flush out the lines. You can pop the pistons out with compressed air and inspect for rust or corrosion before replacing any parts or the calipers. You don't mention what year the calipers are but they are fairly cheap to replace. Call UFP @ 1-800-835-9211 ext 11 or 16 for pricing out what is needed or a whole kit including rotors etc.

Do you think I need new calipers the pads look good they have probably been
changed at some point I am the third owner of the boat. Just ordered the actuator
and it was alot cheaper than I thought it would be.

I would change the actuator first and see how things go. I was having all kind of problems with my brakes dragging and getting hot. I replaced hoses, pads, thought it might be the calipers but finally changed the actuator and problem solved.
