Sure would like to hear some real world reports. I currently have a diesel but don't need for daily driver. I'm not interested in reports on other vehicles - I specifically am wondering about the new F 150.
thanks.

I am using 2009 F150 to pull my ZX250, have no problems with it and I get around 15MPG. Love the truck I think it's the best F150 ever!!!!

I just ordered an F-150 with 373 rear end - Platinum 4x4. It would be very nice to get the specs on others F-150's as well. Thanks.
don't get me wrong but.. with the new fords don't you fell a little underpowered for the tow rating of 11000 lbs? Have you guys towed 11000lbs in the 09 ford?

Not interested in towing that much. I have towed a 21 foot bass boat once and underpowered was not a consideration. I am interested in how others have experienced towing bass boats with an 09. I know it is an incredible daily driver.
I am towing a Ranger 519VX Tour Edition with a 2009 F150 4X4. The new setup Ford has for towing has been well engineered. It is really stable and handles well. The mileage is around 15mpg while towing. I have the 5.4L motor. One thing I have really enjoyed is the backup camera. It is really handy hooking up to the trailer. Ride with the truck is nice and quiet while towing. Power is smooth, sufficient and quiet.
This truck replaces a Suburban and seems to have it beat hands down.![]()

I don't know if it helps, but I tow a 20' skeeter w/ a08 f150 extended cab 4 wheel drive ,5.4 liter engine. Tows great, have made several 5hr each way trips and no problem. I also tow a 2 axle tool trailer that is much heavier than the boat with no problems.
