Have a question concerning a hitch i got today, i have a kia minivan the hitch has i nstead of the 2 inch square it has the smaller inch and a quarter. ( says its good for up to 3500 pounds) my boat and trailer weigh 2000 approximately...
Question is will i have problems with this or should the hitch be fine, thats why i am asking where the experience is at bbc ?

That's a Class II hitch rated for 3500# which would be the maximum for the Kia minivan anyways I would think. That's what you need if your boat/trailer only weigh around 2000 lbs.
You will be fine. Just make sure you get a receiver the size that fits your hitch. I tow with the same size hitch.
