2012 200 Pro XS cranks out 220 HP at ther prop?

Been doin some research on buying a new 200 HP and noticed Jaco Marine is advertising the 200 Pro XS at $11995 and has a note that is puts out 220 HP at the prop. The Mercurey site does not show this in their description of the 200. Are all new 200 Pro XS the same?

Don may confirm, but the 200 Optis have been right at the 10% over rating allowed for a long time.

Either version of the 200 ProXS will put out an average of 219-220 hp at the Propshaft.

What does the 225 Pro XS put out at the shaft?

they can go up to 10% over the rating, so the most would ever be 220. If its higher the manufacture would need to re-rate the engine.

200xs + (.1x200)=220hp

225xs+22.5= 247.5 max

250xs+25=275 max

300xs+30= 330 max

Normally right at 247 Propshaft Horsepower.
