Is a small amount of oil leakage normal while towing? I just replaced complete hub assembly and now have a small amount slung around inside of rim.
No oil leak on the hubs is good. Check rear seal. If oil leaks out, water can leak in when you launch your boat and turn the oil milky looking.
berfore installing a new seal, you'll need to put a film of Red Hi Temp Silicone sealant on the outer protion of the seal...
