Trailer wiring help please!

I have read all of the posts, and I know this should be easy, but I am still confused. I have an 08 Lexus, I assume it is wired like a Toyota. It has a 7 round connector already wired and mounted. I have a Ranger with a 5 flat. Is there an adapter I can just plug my 5 flat into and then into the 7 round so my surge brakes will allow me to back up and my reverse lights on the trailer will work?

Yes sir,buy a Round 7 to square 5 flat connector.Walmart has 'em .7-5 is what you need.
