i have a 2008 nitro z7 with a single axle trailer. it was not available with a double axle. i plan on taking it on longer trips in the summer and would be more comfortable if it were a double axle.
is this something that can be done and retain it's current look and brake operation?

hmmm..... did a search with keywords dual, convert, axle, single and double and didn't find any posts about converting a single axle to dual.

If you have disc brakes, you'll need to change out the push rod & spring assy in the actuator...If you have a torsion axle it wont be too hard to install the second axle and the brake lines, if you have a spring axle, that will require more work and the springs,hangers and hardware.

If you do go with two axles make sure to reposition both axles for the correct tongue weight.
