Had always "hoped" that one of my boys would stick with it and take over someday so that I could take on more of a "teaching" role... but time has shown that's probably "not in the cards" (one is autistic, the other has moved on to pursue "medical field" interests).

So.... we'll continue to look for the right person that wants to learn the business inside and out... and look toward the future.

Autism can be challenging. He is fortunate to have you as his Father for sure. As for the son going into the medical field, well lets just hope that Obama does not get another 4 years or ...never mind!

Is Keith still working for you? Very nice young man. I don't know anything about his skills as an outboard mechanic but after he had told me that he was in the Marines, I understood why he was so courteous and respectful.

I came into the family business instead of taking a teaching job and sometimes I really wonder???

I would for sure that that opportunity. Maybe in 3 years I can do something like that when I get out of the Army. Took a couple of Marine classes in High School plus been working on cars and anything and everything since I was a Kid.

After 32 yrs with my current employer, I will be looking for a job this summer. I wish I were closer to you, this would be right down my alley.
