Damn Yote

Just stepped out side to take a leak and i see this yote headed across the field,, grab the 223 out of the truck and run around the corner of the garage .. rest the rifle on the boat motor and he goes over a small rise .. all i can see is his ears so i run down the headge row about 100 yds ,he's 150 yds out there, find a nice tree to rest the rifle on, settle the cross hairs on him and that dirty basterd is eating one of my chickens .. squeezed the trigger and Smack... he goes to spinning and is trying to run off ... he sits down on his ass and kinda rears up when the 2nd round hits him right in the chest.... no more chicken dinners for him



walked down to take this pic and i stepped it off , the shot was 259 yds

that sucks he ate your chicken, i'm wanting to get some myself, but so many yotes around here it aint funny. They must be some smart bastages because i haven't called any in on the last three trips. guess i'll go to trapping. kill em all

i see them at least 3 days a week, mostly driving around and as soon as you touch the Brakes there running hard there all around the house come dark

My grandad use to soak dish sponges in Bacon grease and put them out for the yotes to eat..Sounds a little cruel but he kept his chickens peacocks and turkeys safe..
