I've eaten just about every game animal in North America and elk is by far and away the best meat. Bowhunting is the way to do it. Your son done good!!! For those of you who said that you have always wanted to go elk hunting, you owe it to yourself to go. There is something truely spiritual about being up in the mountains when the elk are bugleing. Make sure you get in shape when you do.

+1 I hunted in Colorado and Montanna and it was some of the best times of my life. I can't wait to go back.
