In reading the directions, I found that it is only (rated) for one (1) fall. So in other words, HSS is saying that if you have a fall with this harness, you should not rely on it again. In the DVD that comes with the harness, they say that if you have a fall, contact the company for a replacement. I am going to call them and ask, but does that mean you get a replacement and "no cost" or a reduced cost? If not, why contact the company? You could just discard the vest and replace it with a new one a full price and never say anything to the company.
