Couldn't resist the bow bug any longer...

I've been a gun hunter for deer ever since high school...really didn't see the need for a bow or want one for that matter. Lately, I've been wondering what the fuss was all about for bows... I come from a right handed family (dad was a lefty but they "changed" him when he was young), and being the only lefty, it was a lot more difficult to find a lefty bow than it is today, so I never got exposed to the whole thing.

Well, this summer i decided that it was time I see what bows were all about.
I started looking in mid-June, and I found a lefty Parker on another site that was a good deal... I gotta say that after putting a lot of arrows through it lately, I'm seeing that I was missing out for a long time...

It's going to be interesting in the tree stand in October here, and I'm getting pumped.

Congrats you will love seeing the deer unspooked and in their natural state unlike running spooked like the do in shotgun season. Its a blast!

much more exciting than gun hunting, it takes practice, patience, work to get that big buck into bow range, there is nothing else like it

Good for you Tom. Now - if you can only find hunting land around here. Hopefully you know someone who has some private land and you get get out often.

That I do, Steve... I have 2 different spots (1 in Porter County, and 1 in Laporte County) both within about a half hour or so. Hopefully the work schedule will cooperate a bit so I can get in some serious tree time this year.
