    Camo Rainwear

Need to replace my bowhunting rainwear this year. I see all of the Gortex stuff out there - at $200 for jacket and pants, each Hoping to find something more reasonably priced. I know you get what you pay for, but I just can't see putting $400 into rainwear.

Just wondering if anyone has any gear that they use that is reasonably priced out there?

Frogg Togg's makes camo rainsuits and not too much $$. Can't remember any more off the top of my head.

I've tried to save a few dollars in the past, but it ended up costing me in the long run. If I get wet and cold, then my hunt is over. I haven't found anything that works better than Gortex.

the Fowl Tech Herters line at Cabelas are supposed to be a decent price point suit.

I bought a Mossy Oak "rain tamer" from the headquarters in MS. I think I paid $60 for the jacket and $60 for the pants. It's non-insulated and very comfortable. Now they've come out with the "rain tamer II" so you might want to check into it

I have the Camo Frogg Toggs, they are noisey. If I wear them, I put them on under my fleeced camo.
My wonderful wife bought me a set of parka and bibs from BPS last Christmas, I used them a lot during duck season last winter.
