Is it possible to buy an youth rifle for a kid and get an aftermarket stock for it later and it fit as an adult??? I would like to buy a 223 or 308 for my daughter but would like something that she can grow into. I was looking at a Remington or Savage youth bolt action gun.
Thoughts/ideas??
You can buy aftermarket stocks for most firearms.
My son has a Thompson Center. You can get whatever barrel you want and also a youth stock. You can also get a .223 now and buy a 30.06 barrel or whatever you like along with a longer stock later.
go to ebay , i have bought several thumb hole stocks at a descent price,, i'll try to find the guy's name that i buy from
HOWA makes and sales a lot of there rifles with both stocks. I bought my son a .223 with the youth stock on it and got the adult stock free with the purchase. It is one bad a** gun. I shot a 3 shot group at a hundred yards that could be covered with a nickel right out of the box.
