    Bowhunting Turkey (Got two)

My FIL and my 4 yr son went out today to see if we could get some turkeys with my bow. In Kansas we can shoot 4 in the fall (we usually hen hunt, cause we have so many darn birds on our property). I also wanted to have two mounted for the spring as decoys. My son was so excited, he was the greatest little huntin partner. We spotted the turks and put together a game plan. Walked down field from them about 500 yards and got the blind setup. Set the decoy out at 20 yards and my FIL started calling. Within 25 minutes I had two in the bag. This without a doubt was better than any hunt I have ever been on because I got to share it with my son and my FIL. Damn, I love bowhunting its my sickness. We are going to go out and see if I can fill the two remaining tags I have. (yes I know the hat is the wrong brand of bow )

No, I was using spit fires. I use Rage Broadheads for deer. The Gillotine broadhead are good but not very acurate past 20 yards but they will cut the head clean off a bird.

Jared, can't wait for you to get out here. That new ground I got is bad azz, I am pumped to hunt it. I am going to try and take you up on the spring hunt, that would be sweet.
