I have heard good comments about the Lowrance Gen 2 thus far. Buddy got bow and console units recently and raves about them.
Same as boats, what ever you have is what you recommend.
My advice is get the biggest screen you can afford regardless of the brand.

im looking to put 2 hds 10 gen 2's on my boat and im not forsure on what all i need to buy to have the structure scan on the front and back of boat.... i want these units connected so i can share my waypoints with eachother.... thanks for the help

i used lowrance for 25 years and just switched to birds. do your home work and ask a ton of questions on here and other boards and i think you'll see why i switched.
