Opinions on Skeeter boats

Hi all. I'm relatively new to this fourm. Started following it when I bought a used 16ft fiberglass off brand bass boat w/90hp Force. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we traded it in last weekend on a new Skeeter SL210 Fish-n-Ski.

My question is what is the getneral opinion on Skeeter boats? Plusses and Minuses? Anything in particular to look out for? Boat came with a 200hp Yamaha HPDI and Minn Kota Maxx 80 Trolling motor, Lowrance electronics in the dash. Tandem axle trailer w/fold away tongue.

Hi Jeff........welcome to the BBC.

Skeeters are one of the best boats out there; not sure there are any minuses with a Skeeter.

Post in the Skeeter forum and get some input from those guys.

Actually I meant the Skeeter forum further down the page here.........there's forums for every brand of boat.

And, we have the Owners Lists on BBC where you can click on an email link and email anyone.

(Going to have to ask you to cut your signature way down in size; it's currently almost 40,000 bytes and 625 x 200 pixels; needs to be down around 15,000 or less and about 375 x 50 pixels in size.)

Been cruising around on the BBC site all evening, and found several forums that I didn't know existed. Amazing what happens when you scroll down a bit more!

Welcome to the BBC Jeff and I can tell you aint nothing wrong with a Skeeter or any boat out there but they all take alot of Money to fix and to maintain

i have had hydra - sports ,gambler ,and triton i now have a zx250 skeeter w/250 yamaha ,all boats are good now pick what suits you best ,so far my skeeter is by far the BEST for me
