I've been trying to get some help with my boats performance. I was told to measure motor vs pad. I went to try and get some measurement but where exactly is the pad. The underside of my boat is kinda zig zag coming to a point in the middle. So where is this measurement taken at. What part is the pad?
The pad would be the flat part of the hull right at the very back...........the lowest part of the hull that the boat rides on when up on plane.

Are you talking the hull itself? The Cobra has a pad.........is it a Cobra 201?
Not sure what the model is. It measure a little over 19' for tip to transom. I was told it was a 188
the little vee in the very bottom where the drain is is the pad measure from that point
