You're right Fishin, those ARE some awesome shots!!!! I only deream of shots that clear. Where/how is your LSS-1 transducer mounted????????? I am jealous for sure. I agree with the origiinator, if I had images that clear I probably would be too excited to fish as well!!! I hope when I get me hole shot plate installed I can get pictures that nice too.

Great pictures, DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING !! Save all your settings to a SD card, it will save you some time in case you have to do a hard reset.
Everyone says the shots are very good, but I've only had it about a week and know nothing about what I should have expected, I know I'm very happy. I've always had "Birds", and I know it's in a whole different league. I pretty much just set it up by the owners manual..... Thanks for the kind words, fellas!
Here is my mounting set-up. Again, just blindly slapped it on an open spot on the bottom of the boat. I searched the net before mounting it and of the 50 pictures I saw of mounting locations, they were mounted in 49 different places...

I don't know if it an optical illusion, but I can't believe you aren't getting interference from the sides of the boat protruding down.Still an awesome picture!!!

Great shots! As with a previous poster, I'm surprised you don't see more interference from the LSS xd mounting. The shallower you go, the worse the interference will be. Your second shot in the series abobe shows what I'm referring to, but like I said, it's much less of an issue that I would have predicted.
Overall, very nice install and very nice results!

Thinking about tradeing up my 8 for another 10.
Well this weekend was my first trip out with SS on the bow since installed it and also with the latest update they just released for the gen 1 units....all these shots were taken with my LSS on the bow...when i started marking these fish i back off the best i could with the 20 mph winds and actually caught some of them on c-rig...

FC, how were you able to get this layout for this page? I have searched the manual but have not found how to change the layout for the sonar/structure pages.
