Speaking for myself, I kept almost all of my problems to myself while I was on active duty and got them looked at and started treatment during the last 2 years of my career. If I hadn't I wouldn't have been able to continue my naval career. I spent the last 5-6 years of my career with more than a few problems that would have disqualified me from continuing my service had I said anything about it.
I can't/won't speak for Rob or anyone else on here but I would be willing to bet you pretty much whatever you would like to wager that the majority of people that this happens to have kept their problems to themselves until the end so they could continue their service to their country.![]()
