Daniel, Good shot. Turn your sensitivity down on DI and SI some and you'll see even more detail and quite possibly see the fish..
Thanks for the tip. I think I had it on 10-11. I'll try turning it down a little. It seems like I'm having a hard time telling the difference between hard and soft bottom. Maybe that's why.
Exactly why. Especially with the Amber color pallet it is very strong to begin with. Might also try other color pallets at the current sensitivity level like blue, brown and grey they are less powerful at the start and allow you to see changes in strength of return without reducing sensitivity.

I have looked at that brown and grey. I may try to use them more. They do tend to show contrast easier from what I can tell. I have a hard time seeing the blue in the sun so I usually use the amber.
