    SI image question

Looks like I have a problem on my left SI image.

Can someone tell me what this is?

It is on most all SI scanning.

This was my 1st time out.

    Re: SI image question (stogie)

It looks like you have the transducer very high on the transom and are getting a lot of water turbulence from the deepest part of the hull.

Post some images of your installation from rear and side views from low
    horizonal lines.

Does your boat lean to one side easily? When by myself I fill the opposite side livewell and run the fuel from my side to counterbalance my weight when by myself.

Re: SI image question (Doug Vahrenberg)

Doug I had a full fishing load of equipment and a fishing partner in the boat.

Its a Champ 203 with a 250 pro xs, so it not a small boat.

Doesn't take much to shoot one side out of the water. Is the transducer level side-to-side hard to see in the image but if it leans to one side like the right in these images it can hit the water surface and create some of the effects you are seeing.
