Please help with these pictures! Took the 798 and 788 out for the first time.

Doug has helped me with some of my questions on this, but I wanted to get them up on the board to get thoughts!

Thanks Doug, for being so great about helping.

Seems to be a lot of extra stuff in the water column on both 2d and DI.
Any pointers on that? Sensetivity is set on 10 here.

2D only obviously. There seems to be a lot of extra junk again. Does this
look normal? Sensetivity is at 10.

Don't pay attention the erratic movement here. I just wanted to show you the turbulence on each side. Is that normal.

This is where I mounted my SI Transducer. Does this look ok? I have the 2D transducer epoxied in the hull.

Any more opinions I can get would be great.

    Thanks!

Does it still do it when the boat is stopped? This will tell us if it's motion related. The transducer looks like the back end is too high and might be water turbulence causing the readings.

    Hey there...

It was an unproductive weekend for fishing at the lake for me. Im not sure if the fish were freaked out becuase of all the traffic, or if it was just me. I spent some good fishing time on the water, but only 1 small bass, and several crappie off the dock. I threw POP Rs, square bills, deep divers, jigs around docks, etc...nothing!

I did spend a lot of time out on the boat playing with the Humminbird stuff. It was my first time down there with that installed. Were you down? Any luck for you?

Let's meet up sometime and fish. Maybe we can learn from each other down there.

Andrew - about the same luck here on fishing. Just a few small ones. Best bass was about 2 1/2 off my dock caught by a friend down for the w/e. Will be back down in a couple of weeks - down the entire week of the 19th with our kids. Let's gtry to hook up sometime.
