Just wanted to say something about European Marine & Don Weed service

I took my 250XS in for a trim issue that was not trim motor related. While there, since it had 325 hours, I had Don do a thorough check of the motor. I had been noticing it dying at idle when cold, and didn't pay much attention to it. During the checkup, Don found a bad injector seal. He also cleaned the injectors and replaced all injector seals to the newer upgraded ones. (The older one sometimes give the same problems I was having). He also service my fuel system, which was full of the bad fuel line residual.

I just spend 4 days on the water with the boat, and it has never run better. It doesn't even half skip at idle. And speaking face to face with Don, I can tell you he know modern Mercury's better than anyone I've ever known.

Keep up the good service, Don.

My thoughts exactly. Sadly, it's kind of a crap shoot taking your boat in for service around here. Wish I knew someone with Don's expertise.

Hmmmmnnnnn...... sorry, don't see that happening.

Now on the other hand.... a couple plane tickets, a place to stay for a short break, and someone else to carry my laptop and the huge box of cables and hoses through TS "eh" checkpoints (I'm cringing at just the thought of that), you never know....
