Bump some rocks @ idle. Prop nedds a little refreshening. How do I check the prop shaft? Are there special tools needed and should this be left to the pros?

If you don't have an indicator and mount then I'd leave it to a pro for your safety...........With the proper tools in hand it takes less than a minute to check shaft Run Out.

Maximum runout specs have varied over the years.... .006" max is a good rule of thumb (some manuals show up to .010" tolerance).
