PROVIDED that you tach is accurate (which is a pretty big presumtion, by the way)... I would be checking the prop hub.

ok i will check. how do i know by looking at it? will it be rounded or what?
Cracked, melted, rounded, ground-up, or any other abnormality.![]()
For "non-removable" hubs... you can make a paint mark on the hub, and on the prop.... run it for a short period, and then re-check to ensure the paint marks still align.![]()

it is the metal hub with the strips of rubber on it. The rubber strips i can move them with my fingers
The rubber strips can be glued back on in many cases.... 3M trim adhesive works pretty well.
Just make sure you clean the surfaces well.
Note: There is a rubber core inside that hub.... if it fails, it will allow the outer (solid-stainless) hub to spin (which may be the case with yours).
Paint marking the inside and outside of the hub (for reference points) as above noted is perhaps the best way of determining a "slightly weakened" hub.
