On some of the newer versions of the Scroungers the "lip" is made from a thinner plastic and on a quick retrieve they can fold back and ruin the action of the bait. To stop this, take some Super Glue and either run a strip from the top of the lip, down to the lead head, running it right down the middle of the bait. Or, you can use a small paint brush and "paint" the Super Glue on the back of the lip. When the glue hardens it will re-enforce the lip, preventing it from folding back.
