Attaching matting to floor of TR 19

I have secured, and plan to install, some matting material to the floor area beneath the driver console of my 2003 TR 19. In order to ensure that the matting does not come loose when running I intend to utilize some edging material fastened to the floor with stainless steel screws.

My question: Is there anything beneath the floor under the driver console that short screws could potentially damage?

Re: Attaching matting to floor of TR 19 (Slant)

I have a 1998 Tr 19 . just put in new carpet, while I was at it I moved my Hotfoot
, had to put in some 3/4 inch screws, I dont think theres anything to worry about under the floor board, just use caution when drilling and short scerws
