Keeping your hands and face warm

An old friend of mine told me about this trick and I thought I would share it with you guys. Before going out to fish on a cold morning. Simply take some of your wifes hand lotion and rub your hands and face down good. The lotion will create a thin layer on your skin, so it holds heat better and protects from the wind.

Just thought I would share this.

Seems like a good idea on the face, but wouldn't you lose the rod and reel with slippery hands?
