How to make your razor blades last and last and last!!!

Ok this is not a fishing tip but a money saving tip none the less. I use expensive razor blades the Mach 3 blades. Darn things are expensive haha. Anyway, if you want to make 1 blade last 6-8 months or close to it. Yep 1 blade can last that long. All you have to do is blow dry the blade once you have finished using it. Clean it the same way by running it under water just blow dry it dry before setting it back into it's carriage.

Water is what makes them get dull not our beard hair. Small rust develops on the edge making them get dull. I am using the same blade since Septemeber and it is still very sharp and doesn't cut me.

Another way to make them last is to dip them in alcohol to wick away the water. Alcohol will dry and not rust them. So perhaps some of you that are blow dryer challenged can use some old aftershave or rubbing alcohol.

Now take that Gillette and shove your high priced razor blades you know where

Yeah those are expensive razors, but well worth the $. Hate using anything else.

and here's an addon.....Dollar general stores has a brand that is $3 compared to $9 at Wal Mart..and it's the same blade.

That's a good tip. When I have to buy new ones I get them off Ebay. They are usually about half the price with shipping.

I'll have to look on ebay when I do need some more. It will be a while as I still have a new package of them I am on the same blade since September 1st BTW. Now some of you shave more then I do but the point is this tip will make these blades last considerably longer then they did before.

Keith, your tip is right on, ive been doing this since you posted this and its as good as you say man!! Im still on the same blade. It seems like the Mach 3 blades last MUCH longer, but the moisturizer stuff they have on the blade lasts longer as well.
