streaking wipers? try this clever tip

If you get streaks while using your wipers, try rubbing a quartered apple across the blades. They say that the apple juice and the apple itself will re-plennish the blades like new. I heard of this tip a few years ago on the news one evening and just recently remembered it.

Try it out and report back to us what you think.

I prefer to bypass wipers all together and just use Rain-X on my winshield...works better than a new set of wipers IMO.

I will go one step further and cheaper than rain-X. When I wax my truck I put a coat of wax on the windshield and rub it out just like on the body of the truck...It works GREAT!!!
