    hook keeper

In my opinion Kistler rods has the best hook keeper on any rod I've seen. Here's how to get just as good a keeper without paying the high price of a Kistler.

    Here's what you will need:

    a knife
    plastic tape
    fishing glue
    side cutters
    picture hangers

Take the hook out off the pack and cut the end off just like the picture

Put a little fishing glue on the hook and place on your rod. Wrap with plastic tape.

Now you have a place to hang your hook and you don't even have to undo the worm!

Eddie, I can save you even more money. Leave the tape off and use PRO's Soft~Bait Glue, instead of that other stuff you have there. You won't need to tape it on!!

By the way very good tip!!!!

i just made me one and they work really good. i used the glue that you melt to put on spare rod tips and it is really strong. no need for tape.

    Good idea....
You could also use glue as mentioned, or wrap it like a normal guide...epoxy is fairly cheap
