Tip for all you frog fisherman

With all the improvements to frogs now days, Ribbits, Horny Toads, Buzz Frogs, it is hard to find a hook. Well I am sure most of you know about the Horny Toad hook make by Zoom, but they are $3.49 for three hooks. Once you catch a good fish on them the spring is usually shot. Well, once you purchase the hooks purchase a pack of springs made by Tru Turn for $4.25 for a pack of 25. When the spring goes bad just replace it. It will save plenty money over time.

Re: Tip for all you frog fisherman (Bayoufisher)

I lost several nice bass because of line breaking because of the chafing of the line by the ring that attaches the keeper to the hook. The sharp edge *****ed the line several times before I found the problem. Any know solution this?

    Thanks

I got some glue, and love how it holds the toad on the hook, but it still rolls over on the retrieve.. How do you keep them from rolling over, w/o using a corkscrew style hook?

5 or 6/0 gammy 60 deg jig hook with a hitchhiker - manns hardnose horny toads, and you are good for many fish.
