    Saving a crank

Kind of like the one where you tie your jig to a float. If you lose a crank (or get it hung up) just cut the line and tie it to a dock or something near by. It only works with floating cranks but fish all day and then come back later and it may have floated up to the top. Here on Lake Ozark with all the boat traffic and waves, it helps wiggle the cranks lose.

So I'm not the only one with plug-o-vision. Now, if I could just spot fish like that, I'd be making my way to the Classic.

    Re: Saving a crank (borderbasser)

I believe we all do this . Find the crank was a game I have played with my boys, as they grew up.All and all, I think it is called recycling. So enjoy my baits folks.I will put yours to good use, also.Thoses are the ones that end up catching the most fish. Seems like you will throw them in places you wont throw the ones you payed hard cold cash for. Go figure....And dont get me started on the number of floats that we have found. Havent bought 1 of thoses in 35+years...Still have over 300..Now to get the grand kids to loose some for the old man
