new dip for trailer hooks - no chips needed

Okay .. I use trailer hooks on all my spinner and buzz baits ... I'm not crazy about the free swingin' style ... and I hate having to cut that tubing.

so, get whatever type of trailer hooks you like. From Home Depot (Lowe's, etc) get some "Plastidip" .. it comes in black or bright yellow. Dip the eyes in the Plastidip and let it dry. Dip one more time for a second coat. That's it. Now you can put your hooks on and it swings a little bit, but no tubing to cut. Hope this helps some ! ...

Just bite off a short piece of plastic worm and put over the trailer hook eye then slide on the spinnerbait hook.

Holds the trailer where you want it held,

You can also play with some triggering colors like very bright red or yellow. Amazing how subtle things can make a difference.
