for an inexpensive face shield for running down the water------get a paintball mask from wally world--15 bucks--anti-fog goggles come with it---face mask has a lot of holes so its not hot during summer bug months--in the winter use duct tape on the inside of the mask to seal off most holes--keeps you from getting cold------im sure the other masks made for this or helmets do great as well---just didn't have 50 to 80 bucks to spend

mine works great and i have borrowed the mass produced masks before and really cant tell a difference at 70 mph

good tip! i use ski/snowboard goggles sometimes, they work great when going fast and they wont fly off ur face.
