I know i have bad credit but i did get a boat less than a year ago the problem i am wanting to step up in size just wondering if we a less than year old trade in and a credit score of like 565-580 if i can get a bigger boat and stay right around tge same payment 257??

Honestly that is a tough score to work with. My suggestion would be to keep making all your payments on time EVERY month. I don't need to know here in this forum but something must have happened to get the score in that area. The more time you get between that event and a newer loan the better. Most lenders like to see about 12 - 18 months of solid payments as evidence of getting straightened out. A trade so soon is also tough, our suggestion is to keep the current boat for 1 year then look. Boats are built every day and they will be for sale when you are ready.
