You have a better chance if you are still under a warranty. If not, most companies will go 5 model years for a used warranty that you qualify for. The open issue is that the warranty company will need some assurance by a service department that the engine is in good working condition right now. They want to be sure that they are not going to cover an engine that already has issues.
Let me know a bit more info and we can go from there.

Well at this point I am looking to get a 2005 or newer Triton with a mercury on it for a motor. I will be taking it in to DandR sports center and have them go though it then I can let you know what they find. With that being said what is the price on a extended warranty if everything looks good?

We have a two year option for $2028.00 and the three year is $2878.00. Let us know. We can take a credit card over the phone or a check by mail. Let us know, this warranty company is running a bit of a discount (about $100.00) right now.
