hi guys,
i am looking to purchase a ranger z boat, and am just trying to figure out the best route with financing. i am looking at used boats, and possibly borrowing in the mid 20's. this would be after my trade in. what are the max terms you are seeing and best interest rates.

Thank you for the question. Most lenders have a borrowing level at $25,000. In some cases it means lower rates, in some it means longer terms. Most offer 180 month terms above the $25K mark. Rates are effected by finance amount but also by credit score, age of boat and overall loan picture. You should be good on age up to about 5-7 years. Much older than that and most will charge a premium on the interest rate. Loan to value rate is important as far as how much the banks will lend. From what you mentioned about a trade, that does not look to be an issue. Let us know how we can help you.
