I don't have a way to run the VIN with Evinrude but your localk dealer can. IF you have any warranty left, it has to be getting close to the end. If it had an after market warranty, the person you bought it from would have to let you know that. The factory would not have any record of after market stuff. It it has factory warranty, your dealer can help get it transfered. Be ready to pay for that transfer, we have seen them run to $150.00. This is not a dealer charge but from the factory.
Was the rebuild done under warranty?

You will need to run the number with a local dealer. As mentioned, I not have a way to check that with Evinrude. Let me know when you have that info.
