Bought a new 175 proxs this fall has less then 40 hrs. What maint. do I need done? Already ran stabil in the gas last time out. I really hate to leave the boat at the dealer in the snow and ice.

Engine should be serviced at 20 hours (extent of this service varies, depending on needs, months in service, etc).
Thereafter, should be serviced AT LEAST ONCE PER YEAR, OR EVERY 100 HOURS, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST.
For annual/100 hour maint. recommendations, see:

Nice boat thats great. I would pick it up and hurry back down to Texas.Where did you get it at?
I got it at Renegade. Sherbert is putting the 2011 pro xs on there for me, but it will be next week before it's ready. I was a little hesitant about getting an '05 motor. As far as I'm driving to some college tourneys this year, I'd be a little mad if the motor went out on me.
Can't wait to get it back down here! I'm stopping at Rayburn on the way home to break it in and play around with the humminbirds, lol.
Must be nice.to live in Texas. Snow on the ground here, went to Nolin today and caught 1 stupid fish. Been trying to get my wife to move to Alabama, but she won't.Post some pics of your boat when you get it.
haha it's nice; i got tired of all that cold water. i will post them as soon as i can.
why not move to texas? boat registration is only $53 every two years (no property tax on it), and no state income tax. but they will get you with property taxes on house and car, lol.
ya know, if you ever wanna come down and try your hand at fishing in texas, just give me a shout. as long as i'm not too busy with school, you can just hop on a plane and be on a texas lake 6 hours later.
Thanks for the invite Alex,If I ever get the chance I will take you up on it. But only if I get to open up that new pro xs on Raburn or Toledo bend. I would love to go down there and throw some traps in the early spring.
haha okay. just remember to bring your burner reel. caught two during that college tourney within 5 minutes of each other that were over 5 (biggest was a 5.41) using the new quantum smoke burner reel.
