    Led light for TM tray

I was wondering if anybody had suggestion to any light that would help light up the trolling motor foot control, and not blind you.

I put a bluewater in red, it was the small 4 led one behind my foot pedal... it looks cool and gives off a small non blinding color. I will try and post some pics when I have time.

I like this idea but my color scheme is white....I bet that it would be too bright.

Use less light, bluewater will custom make them as small as 3 led.

Why didn't I think of that! I can just put some tape or something over my spare livewell light!

Not to take anything away from LED's but my Glow Troll Well will not interfere with night vision and glows for up to 10 hours and no wiring needed. I offer them in Marine White and Gray, the only way to tell they glow is to see them in the dark. They no longer have the gel coat color effected by the glow material.

Re: Led light for TM tray (rdfkentucky)

I have a red 4 LED blue water. On the bottom of my Ram mount that shines down into the tray.

    Re: (storm 22)

I agree to put it behind your heel.

The first one I did was on each side but very bright.
I then went to dimmer light behind the heel & works great.

I agree you will like the light behind your heel much better. Thats where I put mine and I love it. I used one of bluewaters quad led lights for the live wells. You can get the right color sharpie and color it to match your gel coat.

On another note... a friend has the Glow Troll Well... and honestly he's had to install the same lights that I did to really be able to see. Heres the problem, he does allot of night fishing and his boat stays in his garage all day... sometimes for days and of course the lights are off for days at a time as well. He doesnt go out at night until sometimes well after sun down. So the Glow Troll Well never has time to "charge" its self. Its a cool concept, but it does have its limitations.
